San Diego crime defense attorney James J. Warner has practiced trial litigation for thirty-four years. He has taken more than 250 cases to trial. The first ten years of his practice consisted of primarily criminal defense litigation. However, since that time the Firm has been engaged in an ongoing practice of complex litigation matters.
Member of the California State Bar in 1974, State Bar Number 63137. Member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, American Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, California Trial Lawyers Association, San Diego Trial Lawyer Association, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, and the San Diego Bar Association. Undergraduate Degree in History at the University of Connecticut completed in 1970, Dean’s List. Juris Doctorate Degree at California Western School of Law completed in 1974. Member of the California Western Law Review.
Admitted in good standing in all Federal and State Courts in the State of California. Also admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States in 1978 and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh, Ninth and Tenth Circuits. Mr. Warner has also been admitted pro hac vice in more than 25 jurisdictions across the county.
Mr. Warner and his wife, Debbie, have been married for 35 years and have four children.
San Diego criminal attorney Frederick M. Reich has been practicing with the Firm for more than seventeen years. He has gained an expertise in vehicle seizure cases and forfeitures. He also practices in the areas of criminal defense, employment litigation, personal injury litigation and contract litigation.
Member of the California State Bar in 1991, State Bar Number 157028. Member of the American Bar Association, San Diego Bar Association and Consumer Attorneys of San Diego. Graduate of the University of Minnesota in 1988, B.A. in Political Science and Sociology (law and criminology emphasis) with Honors. Graduate of California Western School of Law in 1991, Juris Doctorate. Admitted in good standing in all State Courts of California and the Federal District Courts, Southern and Central Districts of California. Admitted to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1992 and to the United States Supreme Court in 2000.
Mr. Reich and his wife, Colleen, have two children.
Dwayne H. Stein, Attorney
San Diego Criminal Defense Attorney Dwayne H. Stein is the firm’s newest attorney. He practices in the areas of criminal defense and civil litigation.
Mr. Stein became a member of the California State Bar in 2008, Member Number 261841, and is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. Mr. Stein received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature/History from New College of Florida in 2005. He received his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, from California Western School of Law in 2008. While in law school he was a member of the California Western Law Review/International Law Journal, and received Academic Achievement Awards in Evidence, Labor Law, and Advanced Legal Research.
